Lindera benzoin

Spicebush

A rounded shrub suitable for naturalizing, especially in a moist, semi-shady area. A male pollinator is needed to set the oval-shaped, scarlet fruits which follow greenish-yellow flowers. The light green leaves are very aromatic when crushed.
