Growing & Maintenance Tips for Hypericum calycinum

Grows best in an average to sandy, well-drained soil, in full sun and once established tolerates most conditions. The plant can be temperamental in our zone and should be grown in a sheltered location. Spreads by underground stolons and does not have an invasive habit in Ontario. Evergreen in warmer climates, however, in Ontario, H. calycinum will most likely have some tip dieback.
