Growing & Maintenance Tips for Aster lateriflorus 'Lady in Black'

Grows best in full sun tolerating many soil types and considered quite drought tolerant. Although it stands up well in the garden, it is advisable to prune  1/3 of the top growth in early summer. This will encourage new foliage and produce numerous, tiny blooms per plant.
