Chinese Pagoda Primrose (Vial's primrose, Orchid primrose)

The broad, lance-shaped, hairy, green leaves support stiff, thick, mealy, white stems and produce dense spikes of long, tubular, crimson-red buds which open to lilac coloured flowers.
