Growing & Maintenance Tips for Bletilla striata

Short rhizomes develop corm-like bulbs partially below the surface. Grows best in an organically rich, well-drained soil, with medium moisture, in partial shade. Keep well-drained through the winter and add mulch for extra protection. Easy to grow, but flowering can be inconsistent if not sited properly.
