Summer Cascade birch can tolerate wet conditions, provided the soil has adequate drainage. Creative staking and pruning will add to its unique growth characteristic, and  expose its showy exfoliating bark. One of the most disease-free birches. An excellent single-stemmed specimen near water or a wet area.
