As their name suggests, Greenspires have a very narrow, dense head with an oval crown. Small glossy dark green heart-shaped leaves change to yellow in the fall. They bear fragrant pale yellow flowers in late spring. They can be used for street tree plantings, as specimens, or for lawns.
