This selection exhibits thick, dark green foliage which takes on orange tones in the fall. The clusters of white blooms are followed by vibrant orange berries.

Mountainash has ash-like leaves, but are members of the rose family, and are not related to true ash (Fraxinus of the olive family). Sorbus are not a host plant of emerald ash borer (Agrilus planipennis).
Suitable as a specimen tree for a lawn or street tree plantings.
